Grommet Holes

Most adjustable desks on the market rely on a basic electric-resistance system for anti-collision, which only activates under significant pressure. This approach can lead to a less stable desk, as it necessitates larger gaps between the desk’s extending legs for the system to function effectively.

In contrast, Contuo Standing Desks are equipped with an advanced six-axis electronic gyroscope sensor within the control unit. This sensor accurately monitors the desk’s movement in real-time, offering a more reliable and sensitive anti-collision response compared to electric-resistance systems. It operates efficiently in both ascending and descending directions, enabling tighter and more accurate alignment between the three-stage telescopic legs. The outcome is an ergonomic desk that is not only safer but also more stable, providing a reliable workspace for all your needs.

Which desk frame is right for me?

To find the right desk frame height, consider your comfort in both sitting and standing positions. For sitting, aim for a desk that allows your elbows to be at a 90-degree angle while typing. When standing, the desk should be at a height where your forearms are roughly parallel to the ground. Adjustable desks with a range of 24-48 inches are ideal for catering to various heights and ensuring proper ergonomics throughout the day.

Height range with a 1″ thick desktop: 25.3″ to 50.9″
Travel range: 25.6″
User height range: Works for most people 5’4″ to 6’9″ tall

The stability braces at the top of each V2 desk leg maximize stoutness and eliminate side-to-side wobble to match the stability of the V2-Commercial desk without the need for a crossbar.
